Zoomies was founded by Ashley, alongside her two curly-haired sidekicks Pickle and Lily — the inspiration behind our fun, welcoming indoor dog play area in Shildon.

I created Zoomies to give dogs a safe, fun place to play, explore and socialise freely.

As a dog owner myself, I understand how important exercise, stimulation and confidence-building are.

Mini poodle with maximum anxiety. Sweet, gentle, ridiculously cuddly and secretly very brave.

Pickle enjoys emotional support cuddles, hiding from loud noises and pretending the wind personally attacked her.

Confident, dramatic and a total softie. Lily believes every situation is her personal responsibility.

She brings the chaos, bounces through life and takes on the world one dramatic bark at a time.

Founder/Chief Zoomies Officer

I founded Zoomies to create a fun, safe, and enriching space where dogs can play, explore, and socialise freely.


As a devoted dog owner myself, I know how important exercise, stimulation, and confidence-building are for a dog’s wellbeing. My passion for dogs is at the heart of everything Zoomies stands for — from the colourful play environment to the friendly, welcoming atmosphere.


My mission is simple: happy dogs, happy owners, and plenty of wagging tails.

Introducing pickle

Director of Zoomies & Chaos

Pickle is one of my miniature poodle, with maximum anxiety. Basically Eeyore with curly fur. She’s gentle, sweet, ridiculously cuddly, and somehow frightened by things that don’t even exist. A miniature poodle built for comfort, not survival.


Her hobbies include emotional support cuddles, hiding from loud noises, and acting personally attacked by the wind.

Lily is also a miniature poodle with the confidence of a lion.


She genuinely believes she’s ten times bigger than she is and approaches every situation like it’s her personal responsibility. Total Tigger personality — bouncing everywhere, causing chaos, and taking on the world one dramatic bark at a time.


Underneath all the madness though, she’s a complete softie.
